THE GOLDEN-MANTLED HOWLER MONKEY

LOCAL NAME "EL CONGO"

we have many families of howler monkeys that pass by the treehouse feeding from the treetops. even when not in sight the howls from these guys can be heard upto 5 kilometres away!

best time to see these guys in action is mornings and sunsets.

"chicken the cat"

almost as famous as the treehouse itself... chicken is the longest living resident in our jungle. perhaps the chillest cat you are ever likely to meet, chicken usually keeps a watchful eye over the bar on her favorite step. years ago a wild cat, she has been pampered over the years & now lives a very relaxed life with us.
